Job Description

Audit professionals play a vital role in the economy by providing companies, investors and regulators with confidence about the validity of financial statements, business-critical information or processes.  But assurance skills are not limited to audit or to finance.  Audit professionals also help clients make informed decisions about environmental policies, governance and management systems and fraud investigation.

Run client engagements from start to finish, which includes planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits and managing to budget.  Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve audit-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

Employment History

Before graduating from SU, I completed a summer internship in a private industry accounting department followed by an internship in a bio-tech start-up in Silicon Valley.  Upon graduation, I was employed by Grant Thornton and have been with the company a little over the past two years in the audit practice.
