Hey everyone! My name's Katie Antich and I'm a junior diagnostic ultrasound major and outfielder for the varsity softball team. I'm better known as "Tichy" to my teammates and we're always together, whether its getting together for team bonding BBQs, putting on PONY league softball camps, or helping out at the Boys and Girls Club. I love going to all Redhawk sporting events, whether it's soccer, basketball, or rugby, I'm always there cheering on my fellow athletes! I'm originally from across the state in Spokane, WA, but have learned to love calling Seattle my new home. Mariners games, amazing shopping, and greasy-but-oh-so-delicious Dick's hamburgers are some of my favorite things about this great city. I'm excited to share all the excitement and stresses of my junior year with you!! |

Hi everybody. My name is George Bayuga, and I am a junior International Studies and History double major studying abroad in Beijing China. I will be participating in an immersion Chinese language program at Peking University for the academic year 2008-2009. I have decided that I'm finally going to make myself fluent in Chinese and figured this was the way to do it. My freshman and sophomore years at SU were spent in the University honors program, working with the Triangle Club (the LGBTQA student organization on campus), and the Office of Multicultural Affairs. |

My name is Osbaldo Hernandez and I was born in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. I am one out three siblings and I finally turned 18 this summer. I was raised in a small town of 1000 people and moved to the United States when I was 12 years old, where my life had a 180 degree turnaround. I live in Bellevue with my two other brothers, Jose and Javier and parents, Evangelina and Javier Sr.
I went to Highland Middle School in Bellevue Washington and graduated from Interlake High School in 2008 with a prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. I have decided to enter into the world of law enforcement and government. I hope to major in Criminal Justice with a minor in Latin American studies.

Hi! My name is Hollis Wong-Wear, a senior History major with a Global African Studies minor who hails from the glorious San Francisco Bay Area. I am a performance artist, musician, and mentor with Youth Speaks Seattle and work as a youth programmer and Communications Coordinator at the Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in West Seattle. I am passionate about local music, youth artistic development, and community organizing; I'm also a huge nerd who loves writing research papers. In my senior year, I wish to savor all that I love about Seattle: attending more theater and live concerts, building with different communities, exploring the rich academic resources at SU, and chowing down on the delicious Eritrean food at the Hidmo. I love to listen to community radio, chill out at the amazing coffee shops on Capitol Hill, read novels, and speak Spanish. |
