    To support scholarly research by faculty in all disciplines on topics concerned with, or connected to, Catholic thought and culture.

    2012-13 Recipients of the Faculty Research Grant


    • Gabriella Gutierrez y Muhs, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Departments of Modern Languages and Women Studies, for her work on spirituality and religion in Latina/Latino and Chicana/Chincano literature.
    • Erica Yamamura, Ph.D., Assistant Professor, Student Development Administration, for her project on first generation college students’ experiences at Jesuit universities.

    2. Course Development Summer Stipend

    To encourage the development of undergraduate and graduate courses concerned with, or connected to, Catholic thought and culture in order to increase student engagement with Catholic ideas, issues, and applications in a variety of discipline.
