Non-SU Programs

  • Seattle University takes care to partner with high quality, reputable programs that complement the University's curriculum, goals for cultural immersion and standards for health and safety. Typically, Non-SU programs have been visited either by a faculty member or a member of the Education Abroad Office. The Education Abroad Office monitors programs through returnee evaluations and close communication

    If I choose a Non-SU program . . .

    • How does financial aid work ?
      • Students can use state and federal aid. SU scholarships will not apply.
       
    • How will my credits transfer?
      • Eligible coursework applies toward the SU degree as transfer credit.
       
    • To whom do I pay tuition?
      • Students pay fees directly to program providers, with the exception of the SU Technology Fee which is paid to SU while the student is abroad.
       
    • What are the application deadlines?
      • Program application deadlines vary. Be sure to consult the program provider's timeline
       
    •  Is there required paperwork?
      • Participants on Non-SU programs are required to meet with their Education Abroad Advisor regarding required paperwork.
