Advising
The Education Abroad Office offers comprehensive advising services to help guide you through the discernment process and assist you in finding a program that suits your financial, personal, and academic goals. We also work with your academic advisor, the Office of the Registrar, and the Office of Student Financial Services to ensure you are on-track for your degree and are maintaining a full-time student status while abroad.
First Steps
Plan Ahead: Inform your academic advisor of your plans to study abroad. She/he will assist you in determining the courses you need for your degree requirements and the best time for you to be off campus.
Arm Yourself with Information: This is YOUR experience! Get involved and do your research!
Internationalize Your Curriculum: Courses taken at SU with an international/global focus may help you with your selection of a study abroad program.
