Gina LopardoDirector 
Gina oversees the Education Abroad Office and supervises all staff members. Additionally, she works with faculty and administrators to promote internationalization, including the development of new study abroad programs and parternships. Gina collabroates with faculty directors and Associate Deans on education abroad courses (short-term, faculty-led, usually summer).  This year marks Gina’s 12th year in international education and her 4th at Seattle University. Gina studied in Italy and holds a BA in Italian and  MS in College Student Personnel from the University of Rhode Island.

Mary Beth FalknerSpecialist 
Mary Beth guides the discernment process for students seeking to identify SU, SU-Approved or Non-SU programs that best meet their goals, needs, and preparation. In concert with Faculty Directors and Liaisons, Mary Beth coordinates application and selection processes for SU programs. She organizes orientation and re-entry programming and serves as the primary point-person for students currently abroad. Previously Mary Beth served as the Study Abroad Coordinator and Interim Director of International Programs at Saint Martin's University. She studied abroad in Costa Rica and holds a BA in Global Studies and Spanish from Providence College.

Shalini Singh, Specialist
Shalini has worked in the field of international and experiential education since 2007, with specialized training in service learning and intercultural communication programming. As a specialist in the EAO she is the liaison to the College of Arts & Sciences for all education abroad programming including long and short-term, exchanges and internships. In addition, she supports non-credit bearing campus community international experiences (club and individual volunteer service, athletics, student/faculty/staff immersions, etc.) Shalini has studied throughout Southeast Asia, Central America and Turkey; has led several student immersions to República Dominicana and holds as MS in International Education from SIT Graduate Institute.

Michelle Rainey, Advisor
Michelle works with students in exploring their international education opportunities. She plays a key role in preparing students to maximize on-site learning and provides the necessary resources for students to make informed decisions regarding their education abroad program choice. In addition, she provides support for intercultural health and safety training, orientation, and re-entry sessions for SU groups. Prior to joining the Education Abroad team at SU, Michelle worked as an Academic Advisor at Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, NE. She studied abroad in Ireland and Chile. She holds a BA in Liberal Studies from Iowa State University and a MEd in Global Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Jason Welle, Advisor and Prgram Coordinator
Jason is a member of Seattle University's Jesuit community and is now in his second year as an advisor and program coordinator for the Education Abroad Office. He grew up in Southern California and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz with a BA in Community Studies. Since then Jason has lived in Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Washington, DC; and the Reoublic of Malawi prior to entering the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). He was worked as a travel agent, a flight attendant, and a Peace Corops Community Volunteer. Since entering the Jesuits, he has completed an MA in Philosophy at New York's Fordham University.
