Upcoming Interdisciplinary Conference

Global Thinking: The South in the Frame of the North, and the North in the Frame of the South
Friday, April 23, 2010
Seattle University

This interdisciplinary conference will feature short papers from Seattle University faculty interested in the innovative rethinking of some aspect of their work in light of new ideas, contemporary or historical developments, and theoretical debates in respect to a part of global society less familiar to them. Presenters are invited to share their ideas on the implications of their findings for theory or aspects of global society.

All schools, theoretical approaches, and disciplines welcome. If common themes or methods do emerge, these papers will become the basis for articles that would be a part of an edited volume on global analysis.

Please send a 50-100 word paper proposal and tentative title or your inquiries to Connie Anthony by Friday, November 20th. Presenters will be notified by Friday, December 4th.
