Keoni Chun

 About Keoni:

My name is Keoni Chun and I am a junior Digital Design major here at Seattle U. Originally from Portland, OR I have an innate love for the Northwest as well as Hawai'i, my dad's home state. I do art of all kinds but I'm really interested in drawing and making things that can be worn or have a practical use. I hope to one day work in advertising or apparel/fashion. I also like to run and do so all over Capitol Hill and Montlake. As a Returner Resident Assistant (RRA) you can find me in the Murphy Apartments in the Hopkins building.

 Keoni's Goals:

My goals for SGSU this year are to really get our new name out there! I want everyone to know what we do as a student organization and I hope that with my constantly growing skills I can make this transition a smooth one. I also want to see what we can do with Housing and Residence Life and hopefully work with them. It's another great partner on campus and I think the advertising potential is endless in the residence halls.

Why he loves Seattle University:

SU holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. I love its location in this city and the small, urban campus. We are in one of the most bustling parts of Seattle, Capitol Hill, and there is so much to see and do in this great neighborhood. Our Jesuit foundations have challenged me in a way that is intimidating and exciting and I've learned so much in the last few years. Plus, SU's close proximity to my hometown is added bonus–all I have to do is hop on a quick train ride and I'm back to Seattle's sibling, Portland. SU and Seattle have so much to offer and I hope that everyone takes advantage of this awesome opportunity we have!
