Becca Policar
About Becca:
Hello SU! My name is Becca and I am a junior and first year commuter student. I was born and raised in Issaquah, WA, a city well known for our Salmon Days festival. I really love to travel and learn about global affairs, so I chose to major in International Studies and Spanish, with a minor in International Economic Development. I also really like Costco chocolate cake, listening to music and impromptu dance parties.
Becca's Goals:
This year my main goal is to promote the Collegia program. I’d also like to create more of a connection between new commuters and those who have always commuted to campus, likely through commuter lunches and coffee hours. My main goal is to simply make myself available to all commuters and to hear your needs so that we can overall better the commuter experience.
Why she loves Seattle University:
I love SU for it’s small community feel. With reasonably sized classes, a wide variety of programming designed to create connections between all sorts of students, and a general friendliness of staff and students, SU is a home for everyone, even those who are only on campus a few hours each day.
