In support of Jesuit values, the mission of the office for Wellness and Health Promotion is to enhance the health and well-being of the Seattle University community by promoting healthy and sustainable behavior change and supporting good health practices through education, prevention, collaboration and peer support.
Our goal here at the office is to enhance student health and well-being. Feel free to drop by and learn about health and wellness issues, attend an event or workshop, or contribute to a healthy campus environment by joining other students on the PHAT team. Issues and activities include nutrition and physical activity, alcohol awareness, managing stress and finding balance, substance abuse awareness, sexual health and safety, disordered eating, healthy choices and more.Our office focuses on 5 areas of wellness: physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual.
