Justice Faculty Fellows Program

The Justice Faculty Fellows Program is two year research seminar that seeks to foster interdisciplinary and/or collaborative faculty scholarship to promote justice. Faculty fellows apply to participate in a seminar group of their choice and then work with the seminar directors— distinguished SU faculty scholars—on particular topics. At the end of year one, fellows present their works-in-progress to other participating fellows and invited guests in a roundtable session. During year two, each seminar group makes a formal presentation of their completed scholarship to the Seattle University community. These presentations are open to the public, recorded and shared via podcast on the CSJS website.

Justice Scholarship Series >> CSJS Justice Talk Luncheons

The Justice Scholarship Series is a continued initiative from the 2006-07 academic year. Each quarter, a group of faculty gathers informally to discuss a selected social justice scholarship topic. Less structured and intensive than the Fellows Program, it is also designed to encourage interdisciplinary and/or collaborative faculty scholarship within the University.  See our calendar for upcoming events, the Justice Talk: Conversations over Lunch events follow the same Justice Scholarship Series tradition for the 2009-10 academic year.
