Service Days

We encourage students, faculty, staff, and alumni to take ownership of their community engagement experience through organizing days of service. Through participating in events beyond campus, our hope is that the SU community will continue to develop ongoing relationships with our community partners. Service days are an excellent opportunity to assist organizations with one-time events, to promote teamwork and service among volunteers groups, and to get out into the community!
Take part in a service day
Don't want to organize the event? Just looking to do some service with cool people?
Plug into Labor of Love or another student service day
Student leaders coordinate quarterly one-time student-led service projects that offer the opportunity to serve and volunteer together in the community through service days called Labor of Love. We encourage departments, schools, and colleges to join with us in these projects and welcome any opportunities for collaboration. Email benkertk@seattleu.edu for more information.
Want to find a cause that you and your group connects with?
Find an organization seeking volunteers
Email csce@seattleu.edu to be added to the justice and service listserve, which compiles lists of volunteer opportunities, events, and even jobs/internships sent by non-profits in the area. This is a great resource if you are looking to assist at a large event and connect to ongoing service opportunities.
