Northwest Indian Life: Listening, Serving, and Learning

NWNL10_web

During this five-day cultural exploration, students engage in cultural activities, help with community-based projects, talk with community leaders, and reflect on the experience of being immersed in life with a local tribal community. Through the daily interactions, participants learn about ancient and contemporary Indian history and lifeways. The urban Indian culture in Seattle is also explored by visiting local sites such as Daybreak Star Cultural Center and Chief Seattle Club.
