College Preview Days

College Preview Days are a Children’s Literacy Project tradition! Since May of 2006 College Preview Day has been exposing middle school students to the university environment and inspiring them to dream and work toward the goal of becoming a college student. Students visiting Seattle University on College Preview Days take part in a full day of fun activities and interesting conversations. College Preview Day gets youth thinking about their futures by exposing them to the various opportunities at Seattle University-- ranging from food options to academic options, from student life to future careers. Over the years College Preview Days has been organized by the Children’s Literacy Project with the support of the National Educational Loan Association and student groups, including the Coalition for Educational Equality, the Black Student Union, and Minorities in the Community.
