Comboni Lay Missionary Program
Community of Catholic lay missioners (age 23-54) who serve a three-year commitment working in communities in Africa or Latin America to build a more just and compassionate world. Placements include: health care, education, agronomy, community development, administration, technical skills, and pastoral work.

Two year commitment serving in one of 13 locations throughout the world. Social justice, spirituality, simple lifestyle, and community components. Ministries include: adolescent services; education; pastoral ministry; and social services.
Lay Mission-Helpers
Three-year commitment to mission work in Cameroon, Uganda, Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, American Samoa, Thailand, Taiwan or Ecuador. Positions available in healthcare, education, social work, nursing, and pastoral care. Must be practicing Catholic, age 21-62. Four-month formation. Simple living and spirituality components.
Maryknoll Lay Missioners
Three-year commitment serving and living in solidarity with people who are poor and suffering in one of seventeen countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Placements include: healthcare, direct service to people with AIDS, education, community organizing, grassroots economic development and formation of faith communities.

Peace Corps
Two year commitment addressing global needs in one of 71 countries. Placements include public health, education, HIV/AIDS awareness, information technology, agriculture, environment, business development, etc.
Rostro De Cristo
One year commitment living and working in solidarity with the people of Duran, Ecuador. Placements include: teaching, tutoring, coaching sports, working in soup kitchens, leading retreat groups, assisting in parish activities, working at a hospital for Hansen's Disease, and visiting orphanages and nursing homes. Spirituality, community and simple living components.
Salesian Lay Missioners
One to three year commitment serving in the areas of education, evangelization and human development among poor and at-risk youth. Domestic and international placements. Community living, simplicity, and spirituality components.
Service Civil International
Three week service opportunities offered around the world. Trips during spring break and summer available. Community and simple living components.
Volunteers for Peace
Participate in work camps in over 90 countries for two-three weeks at a time. Projects include construction of low income housing; environmental initiatives; social services; AIDS education, etc. depending on the needs of the local host community. Fosters international education, voluntary service, and friendship.
