Post-Graduate Campus Resources
The Center for Service and Community Engagement, Campus Ministry, and the Career Development Center can help you with your explorations. In addition, these three organizations co-sponsor a post-graduate service fair in the fall quarter.
Campus Ministry, Maguire Center, Student Center 120, (206) 296-6075
Post-Graduate Service consultations help students explore opportunities for service through established volunteer organizations after they graduate from Seattle University. Campus Ministry also has a resource notebook of post-graduate service opportunities available for student use in the Peace and Justice Library. Past graduates have worked with organizations such as Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Peace Corps, Lutheran Volunteer Corps, and Teach for America.
Career Services, Student Center Pavilion 110, (206) 296-6080
Participating in a service opportunity after gradation can be a life changing experience. Many students are not ready to jump into the job market. After graduation is the perfect time to explore service options and opportunities. The Career Development Center is here to help connect you to the various service opportunities available. We also bring a variety of service opportunity recruiters on campus such as PeaceCorps, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, Teach for America, and AmeriCorps to name a few. Check the events calendar at http://www.seattleu.edu/events/list.asp or come into our office for more information.
