During this six-day service immersion, students explore the Cedar River Watershed, the source of Seattle's drinking water, and the Duwamish River, and reflect on environmental justice and the impact humans have on the environment. Working with non-profit agencies such as Mountains to Sound Greenway, EarthCorps, People for Puget Sound, Duwamish River Cleanup Coalition, and the Community Coalition for Environmental Justice, participants explore the relationship with the environment and critical water issues within urban and natural settings in Western Washington.
