Internal Links

  • Editing Internal Links

An internal link is a hyperlink that opens another page or document that is already part of the Seattle University website.  In this example, we are creating a link to the Zoology department's Contact Us page.

    Adding an Internal Link

    1. Highlight the text you want to link.
    2. Click the Library button to open the Library window.
    3. A Library window will appear.
    4. Select Quicklinks from the pull-down list of object types if you want to link a web page.  If you want to link a document, choose Files.
    5. On the left-hand side of the Library, navigate to the folder that contains the page or document you want to link to.
    6. Double-click the web page or document.
