Connie Kanter, Chief Financial Officer / Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs, joined Seattle University in 2012. Ms. Kanter is a business leader recognized for her skills in financial management and strategic planning. Originally from Philadelphia, Connie has been a member of the Seattle business community since 1983, when she began her career with Hewlett-Packard. She later served as vice president and chief financial officer of Physio-Control, a Redmond-based medical devices company and went on to leadership roles at a number of other technology-based companies. She was most recently controller for Redmond-based Pacific Bioscience Laboratories, developer of the Clarisonic cleansing systems, until its acquisition by L’Oreal Group. Connie is currently a trustee of the Samis Foundation and has served as a board member of Kline Galland Center, Seattle Hebrew Academy and the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. She earned her bachelor degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and her MBA from the University of Chicago and is a Certified Public Accountant.
