    What is your role?

    In my role as Service-Learning Coordinator, I connect community partners with faculty who teach courses with a community engagement component.

    What is your favorite part about working at the CCE?

    The best thing about my job is getting to connect with and learn from the amazing community partners and faculty members who are at the heart of what we do. I truly appreciate the generous and creative ways that community partners work with students and faculty to support community engaged teaching and learning. Supporting the people who are doing the real work of social change keeps me coming to work every morning- that, and Americanos.

    What is your professional and educational background?

    I’ve been with the Center for six happy years and am an SU alum (Philosophy). I’m currently pursuing a Masters degree in Applied and Professional Ethics through the University of Leeds.

     What is something people would be surprised to know about you? 

    When I’m not working or going to school, I’m into beekeeping, hiking, and doing nothing in particular.
